OXTAIL RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

Oxtail (1 pack)

Onion

Green and red pepper

Fresh thyme

Bay leaves

Garlic powder

Paprika

Curry Powder

Ground cumin

Tomato paste

Worstersauce

Oxtail stock cube






METHOD:

1.Brown the oxtail with oil (i used olive oil). Remove it from the pot.

2. Same pot, fry the onions, and peppers until well cooked, then add fresh thyme and 2 bay leaves.

3.Add 1 teaspoon each of Curry Powder, Paprika, Ground Cumin, Garlic Powder. Mix mix mix

4,Add tomato paste ( i used the 50g sachet) , 1 tablespoon worstershire sauce. Then 2 oxtail cube stock.. Mix until stock has dissolved.

5.put the browned oxtail it the Pot, mix well.. Then pour enough water (make sure its really enough water) , slow cook for 5 hours (stove on 3 or 4)

Keep checking the meat every hour.
