SRIRACHA CHICKEN WINGS
SRIRACHA CHICKEN WINGS 🍗

Have you ever met someone who didn’t like chicken wings? Never! These wings are marinated with Soy sauce and then coated with the Sriracha sauce which gives them a kick. They are made in the oven, quick and very easy! You can also put them on a braai is you have a fire going.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 kg Chicken wings
  • ¼ Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Crushed Garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • ¼ Cup Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Honey
  • 1 Tsp White Vinegar





METHOD:

1. In a large bowl add chicken wings, soy sauce and crushed garlic; mix these ingredients together. Marinade the chicken wings for at least one hour before cooking.

2. Preheat oven to 180C and prepare an oven proof pan by spraying with non-stick spray. You can use a rack if you have one.

3. Place the chicken wings on a rack or in the oven proof pan and bake in the oven for 25 minutes, remove to turn them around then return to the oven for another 25 minutes.

4. Heat a saucepan on medium heat, add the Sriracha Sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Honey and Vinegar, stir and allow to boil then remove from heat.

5. Remove chicken wings from oven and place in a bowl with the hot sauce mixture and toss to coat.
